Product credibility is supported by ASTM tests attained in the USA and similar testing from Europe including ISO9002 and ISO14001 standards under the EC Directive 88/379/EEC. This environmental INORGANIC coating, approved and listed in the 5th edition of GREENSPEC, has many advantages over traditional ORGANIC coatings in that the product is a high alkali and penetrates deep into the substrate and chemically attaches itself to the compatible alkali based concrete, cement/lime plaster, aerated autoclaved concrete, stone and other masonry. The single component water based product is available in smooth or textured. The textured coating can also be trowelled or tooled to create patterns or designs. Can also be used on unglazed brick.The product has a high breathe ability rate [over 90%]allowing masonry substrates to remain dry, yet, it also has a high water shedding/resistance rating. It will not peel, crack, craze or chalk, is non-combustible, non-toxic [zero VOCs], non-allergenic [safe for asthmatics], reflects heat and light providing some minimal insulation qualities, resists toxic mould growth due to high alkali content, comes in a clear sealer/primer and many hundreds of colours obtained from natural earth oxides. As an all INORGANIC coating, using natural mineral oxides as colorants, the coating has an extremely long life if applied correctly on inorganic substrates[in excess of 30 years] as UV light does not affect the coating deterioration or the colour.
